Seen anything good?

One of my favorite movies is The Godfather, a 1972 gangster movie starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino as the leaders of a powerful crime family, Vito and Michael Corleone. Also starring are Robert Duvall and Diane Keaton, acting as the Corleone’s counselor and Michael’s girlfriend, respectively.  It chronicles the ascension of Michael as a Mafia Boss while also viewing the family run under Don Vito and the wars that erupt after several assassinations. The best parts of the movie are the speeches that Brando gives over the course of the movie. I highly recommend it, you must see it.

Famous Musicians - Benny Goodman

Benny Goodman, also known as the King of Swing, was a famous American Clarinetist and bandleader, and was one of the pioneers of the Swing Era of the 1930’s and 1940’s. He played Swing, Jazz, and Classical music with many bands throughout his lifetime, set standards that many musicians would adopt later on, and gained recognition for inviting African Americans to play with him in a time of racial segregation.

Bizzare Blog

One of the strangest buildings in New York City is the famous Citigroup Center, a 59-story business building located in Midtown Manhattan. Even from the NYC skyline it looks different, with its unique 45 degree angled roof, but it's from the bottom where it really gets weird. It rises 72 feet above the ground on four huge columns that hold the entire building up over a small chapel. It really makes you wonder how the pillars can hold such a large building up so easily.
